Why do you people hate women so much? I am side-eyeing the fuck out people who are legitimately calling Rooney Mara talentless and undeserving of her Oscar nomination. First of all, have you seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? Because as much as she physically transformed for the role, her role was not as theatrical as her appearance suggested. It was entirely visceral and nuanced and still. It was in a flicker of her eyes, her posture, her ability to compose and let go of herself so frighteningly. It was a performance that knocked the wind out of me and I can’t for a minute understand someone saying that isn’t talent; that she was only aided by costume? And secondly, have you seen every one of the leading actress category performance to be able to pinpoint and say that it’s Rooney Mara’s performance that is the least deserving? Thirdly, why are we mainly only picking apart and scapegoating the lady categories? 

As if that trite bull isn’t enough, you’re not only unhappy with her nomination but with her reaction to said nomination??? Christ on a cracker! I thought we’ve been through this all with KStew? Be more grateful! Excited! Peppy! Smile more! You won’t see Fassbender or Clooney getting this shit.
